Aquamaid athletes in all age groups will be competing at the Scorer's Figure Meet on January 15. This is the first meet of the 2012 competition season, and it provides the judges, volunteers, and athletes with a chance to practice competing. Athletes will only compete figures at this meet.

In December, the US Synchro Olympic Qualification Team competed at the 2011 World Trophy Cup at the "Water Cube" in Beijing, China. Theteam placed 6th overall, but finished fifth in the Free Combination event. The 2012 Olympic Qualification Team is comprised of five former Aquamaid athletes.
