- Head coach Chris Carver is celebrating her 30th year with the Aquamaids! She started as an assistant coach under Gail (Johnson) Pucci, and has now become one of the most talented and decorated synchronized swimming coaches in the world. Thank you for 30 wonderful years!
Aquamaid Happenings –September
- Congratulations to the following SCA swimmers who have qualified for the 2010 Senior National Team: Mary Killman, Leah Pinette, and Khadija Zanotto. This team will be attending the FINA World Cup this September in China. The team is coached by Jenny Ekhilevsky, a member of the SCA coaching staff.
- Congratulations to Karen Li and Leilah Talukder who have qualified for the 2010 11-12 National Team. These two athletes will be competing at the UANA Pan American Age Group Championships in Lima, Peru at the beginning of this month.

National News
- The world’s best Juniors competed last month in Indianapolis, Indiana at the FINA Junior World Championships. SCA was proud to see four Aquamaids there as members of the 2010 Junior National Team: Phoebe Jen, Taylor Kitayama, Margo Sargent, and Katie Spada. The team placed 10th overall. Congratulations Juniors!
