- Head coach Chris Carver is celebrating her 30th year with the Aquamaids! She started as an assistant coach under Gail (Johnson) Pucci, and has now become one of the most talented and decorated synchronized swimming coaches in the world. Thank you for 30 wonderful years!
- Want to see what the Santa Clara Aquamaids are all about? All swimmers will be performing in an exhibition on Memorial Day, which is Monday May 31, 2010. More information will be posted soon, but for now mark your calendars and plan on attending!
Aquamaid Happenings – March
- Santa Clara Aquamaid Junior swimmers have a busy month. The highest Junior-level competition in the U.S., Junior National Championships, takes place at the end of the month in Austin, Texas. In addition, most Junior athletes and a few 13-15 athletes will attend the West Zone Championships, March 4-7, in Seattle, Washington.
- SCA is proud of its athletes who qualified for the Senior National Team Training Squad which will be attending the FINA World Cup next fall in China, as well as other top international competitions this summer. Kudos to Mary Killman and Leah Pinette who have already begun training for this elite competition!

- The top collegiate-level meet in the U.S., Collegiate National Championships, will be held March 11-13 at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. The meet promises to entertain as national team members from Stanford, Ohio State, and Incarnate Word will be competing. For more information, visit www.usasynchro.org.
